BANGKOK —Blanca Garcia has been named VP, communications for Nissan in Asia and Oceania. Garcia will be responsible for strengthening the reputation of the company and its brands through maximizing Nissan’s presence across Asia and Oceania. In addition, she will drive internal communication strategies across the region to support employee engagement. She most recently oversaw Nissan’s communications in Latin America.

HONG KONG — Adam Harper, most recently HSBC’s head of communications, Greater China, has launched his own Asia-focused communications consultancy. Ashbury Communications will advise clients on communications strategies based on original content such as speeches, opinion pieces, white papers, social media assets, videos, preparation for media interviews and material for employee engagement.

DELHI — Rahul Mehta has been named chief operating officer of Kaizzen. Mehta has held senior leadership roles at leading international agencies including FleishmanHillard and Weber Shandwick. He brings strong expertise in corporate reputation management, crisis management, social media influencer campaigns, internal communications, executive training and brand marketing.
