SINGAPORE—FleishmanHillard’s partnership with content discovery agency Outbrain has been extended to Asia Pacific, where the firms will work to build tailored strategies that integrate social engagement and content marketing. With this alliance, FleishmanHillard will be able to provide its clients across Asia Pacific with the opportunity to participate in beta programs for solutions designed to help brands better amplify their content and engage target audiences. In addition, FleishmanHillard will be able to review new Outbrain products and data insights, as well as better understand Outbrain’s future product road map.

SYDNEY—Peter O'Sullivan has returned to PPR to spearhead its recent move into content marketing and management, taking up the newly created role of director of content. The move follows PPR's recent launch of video distribution platform PSS Media and the signing of an exclusive partnership with King Content. A PPR veteran of six years in senior roles, O’Sullivan returns to the agency after spending the last 18 months as managing director Australia for UK-based Frank PR.

SINGAPORE—Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Veronica Tan (pictured) to be the firm’s regional HR director in Asia. Tan will be based in Singapore and report directly to John Morgan, president and chief executive officer, H+K Strategies, Asia. She will also oversee the Asia implementation of H+K University, a global training platform. Prior to her new role, she was general manager of human resources at Jones the Grocer International and also worked at FJ Benjamin, Capella Singapore, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

KUALA LUMPUR—Japanese communications firm Kyodo Public Relations is expanding its South East Asian presence through a partnership with Malaysia's GO Communications. Kyodo PR will have access to GO’s knowledge of the Malaysia business environment as well its network of offices in Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Thailand. GO, meanwhile, can tap into Kyodo PR's resources and network of offices in Japan and China.

HONG KONG—Hong Kong Express Airways, a new low cost carrier, has appointed Strategic Communications Consultants, a subsidiary of Strategic Public Relations Group, to manage its public communications efforts in Asia. SCC has been brought on board to assist Hong Kong Express in covering its corporate, trade and consumer communications, as well as managing events and special promotions.

SYDNEY—DEC Communications has been retained by EA Mobile. The agency first handled the EA Mobile business between 2009 and 2011, and through its new retainer will support all key title launches in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, the agency will drive positioning of EA Mobile as a powerful marketing platform to trade and business audiences, showcasing the scale, capability and return on investment of in-game advertising.

HONG KONG—FleishmanHillard has appointed Geoff Bilbrough as deputy general manager and senior vice president of its Hong Kong office, responsible for providing senior client counsel and overseeing new business and staff development. Before joining FleishmanHillard, Bilbrough served as group operations director and then as managing director (London) for Metia—formerly Write Image—a global digital marketing agency with offices in Europe, North America and Asia.

HONG KONG—Weber Shandwick has been named public relations partner for the annual Forbes Global CEO Conference that will take place in September of this year in Bali, Indonesia.  Weber Shandwick will provide communications services for the conference, including dedicated public relations and media management.
