SYDNEY — Sefiani Communications Group has revamped its leadership structure, putting the agency’s top execs into new roles. Founder and managing director Robyn Sefiani will move to the new role of executive chairman and senior reputation counsel. She will focus on expanding the agency’s position in reputation, issues and crisis management while continuing to spearhead the firm’s strategic growth plan. Justin Clark has been named managing director of the group, which comprises corporate and financial agency Sefiani and consumer and challenger brand agency Kite. He will lead agency operations and development of innovative services, partnerships and speciality practice areas.

SINGAPORE — OPPO Singapore, the regional branch of the Chinese consumer electronics company, has named AKA Asia its PR agency of record. AKA won the new business in a four-way competitive pitch. The agency will focus on defining the brand and driving its story in Singapore through campaigns targeting young consumers.

The expansion comes in response to area businesses looking to attract luxury shoppers from China.
