SINGAPORE — WE Communications has struck a new partnership with Treasury Wine Estates which named WE as the company’s Southeast Asia regional communications agency. The appointment followed a competitive agency search. Led out of Singapore, WE will establish the overarching regional communications strategy for three of TWE’s leading brands: Penfolds, Wolf Blass and Beaulieu Vineyard. WE’s remit includes producing always-on storytelling and creative content as well as supporting marketing-driven activations, including the annual Penfolds event.

SINGAPORE — WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks & Sales has appointed Athreyan Sundararajan as its VP of marketing & brand services for its business in Southeast Asia and the Pacific region. His responsibilities in this newly-created position include marketing, social media, creative services, as well as data and insight for the company’s kids and entertainment pillars. Brands under his watch include Cartoon Network, Boomerang, HBO, Cinemax, Warner TV and Oh!K. Prior to joining WarnerMedia, Sundararajan was senior VP of marketing and commercial strategy for Fox Networks Group, Hong Kong & Southeast Asia. He most recently oversaw the setup of Disney Media Networks’ brand solutions and partnerships team in Singapore.
