SYDNEY — Information management software company Commvault has appointed Lewis as communications agency of record for Australia and New Zealand following a competitive pitch. Lewis is tasked with being responsible for the development and delivery of integrated communications campaigns for the provider of data protection and management solutions. 

HONG KONG — RFI Asia, the digital Arm of Ruder Finn Asia, has announced the promotions of Maximilian Wang, Vincent Mak, and Joshua Want. RFI Asia was formed when Ruder Finn Asia acquired Daylight Partnership a digital marketing and analytics consultancy in December 2016. Wang has been promoted to group director, and will lead the team's in digital strategy, creative, production, and clients services. Mak is now head of client services and will oversee a growing client portfolio including brands such as Fitbit, HSBC, Nike, Victorinox and Digital Domain. Wang becomes head of insights and analytics, and leads a team of data scientists and research specialists equipping content strategists and creatives with data-driven strategies delivering campaigns in Asia and abroad. 

MUMBAI — Archer Freres Communications LLP, a full service public relations firm has launched. Formerly known as Seven Communications, the firm has received funding from industry veterans Sunil Gautam and Jaideep Shergill and will now operate under the new name with a renewed focus and high growth plans. The team will be led by Priyanka Shetty while Gautam and Shergill will play strategic roles, mentoring the firm's team and clients. Archer Freres will become part of the Pitchfork Partners family, co-founded by Gautam and Shergill in 2015. The full-service firm will provide a spectrum of services from planning to media relations and content across corporate communications and brand PR. 

SYDNEY — WPP has announced the merger of two specialist communications agencies, Greyhealth Group (GHG) and Sudler & Hennessey. The new merged entity will be known as Sudler Sydney and aims to offer broader capabilities across the healthcare communications sector than they did separately. Sudler Sydney will be led by former Sudler & Hennessey managing director Peter Bernard. The merger affects the Australian arm of each agency but not the global GHG or S&H brands.
