MUMBAI — Bhavna Singh, formerly senior director of communications of Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI), has been tapped to lead corporate communications for US-based pharmaceutical company MSD India.  Singh (pictured) will join the organization as associate director corporate communications. She will work closely with the senior leadership team at MSD India led by managing director Rehan Khan.

HONG KONG — Manulife has appointed Julie Nestor its chief marketing & experience design officer, Asia. Nestor joins Manulife’s Asia executive committee and reports to Anil Wadhwani, president & CEO, Asia, and global CMO Karen Leggett. She will also be a member of the company’s global leadership team. Nestor will be responsible for elevating Manulife’s strengths in marketing, brand, digital and customer experience in Asia, and will also oversee customer insights, product design, data analytics, digital strategy, ManulifeMOVE and communications.

SINGAPORE — SPAG has launched an employee engagement & employer branding practice. Named SPAG EMPOWER, the practice aims to help organizations harness the potential of their employees with a holistic internal communications approach. The practice will be led by Vagmita Sharma in Southeast Asia region.
