HONG KONG—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has promoted Emma Richards to general manager of Hong Kong. Most recently the agency’s vice president of global alliances, Richards has experience running integrated, multi-market campaigns, working with clients including BMC Software, Canadian Solar, Casio, CSL (1O1O/one2free), Infosys, MSN and Samsung. She joined Waggener Edstrom as UK head of technology in 2008.

SINGAPORE—PRecious Communications has added three new clients: HRS, which operates a global electronic hotel reservation system for business and private travelers; Smaato, a leading global mobile real-time bidding ad exchange; and the Sustainable Shipping Initiative, a cross-industry group representing ship owners and charterers, shipbuilders, engineers and service providers, banking, insurance, and classification societies.

MUMBAI—Avian Media has launched a specialized financial communications practice, dedicated to supporting the investor relations and public relations needs of financial services companies. The firm has appointed Mehul Mehta  as group business director to lead the new operation. He started his career as an equity research analyst with KenSource Information Services, after which he set up a company to deal with perception mapping for the investor community and worked with a research agency focusing on investor behavior.

BANGKOK—Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has appointed Julia Gajcak as vice president marketing and communications. Prior to joining Six Senses, Gajcak was vice president corporate communications and global marketing for The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, based in India. Earlier, she held PR positions at The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Asia Pacific.

HONG KONG—The Strategic Financial Relations unit of Strategic Public Relations Group has completed the IPO communications campaign for International Housewares Retail Company, the largest housewares retail chain in Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau.
