SYDNEY — On the heels of seven new client wins, Text100 has made changes to its Sydney leadership team. Karen Coleman, managing director of Text100 ANZ, returns from maternity leave taking back the reins from Simon Fitzgerald. She will be supported by Mihika Gujralan 8-year vet of the agency, who has been promoted to deputy managing consultant. Bec Madden, who joined Text100 in 2017 from TBWA, also joins the new leadership team and will lead the agency’s creative strategy. Amongst the agency’s seven new clients are Deakin College, Cisco, Rode Microphones and Engineers Australia.  For Deakin College, Text100 has won a digital marketing and content remit to drive student registration.

MUMBAI — MullenLowe Lintas Group has promoted two senior leaders to oversee the group’s three agencies in India — Virat Tandon, who has been named group CEO, and Amer Jaleel, named group chairman and chief creative officer. Jaleel joined Lowe Lintas in 2002 and has held multiple creative leadership positions including chief creative officer. Tandon joined the group in 2004 in the New Delhi offices of Lowe Lintas and has since played various senior roles in the network in India and Singapore. When the group started Mullen Lintas in 2015, it named Jaleel and Tandon chairman and CCO and CEO respectively. In addition,  Arun Iyer, chairman and CCO of Lowe Lintas, is stepping down to become a creative consultant. Iyer plans to start a venture of his own and will transition out of the agency over the next year.

SINGAPORE — Hume Brophy has named Carolyn Camoens as managing director Asia. Camoens has taken responsibility for Hume Brophy’s operations in the region and will report directly to global CEO, Conall McDevitt.  Camoens brings significant regional experience, coupled with expertise in integrated communications strategy, serving advisor to major international brands and public sector organisations.

MUMBAI — MSL has appointed Shirley DCosta digital practice lead for the West region. She brings more than 11 years of experience working across creative agencies and digital startups. Experience includes working with 22feet Tribal Worldwide as its Mumbai business lead, leading work on brands like Axe, RedBull and L’Oreal.

MUMBAI AND DELHI — FTI Consulting has added three new senior leaders to its strategic communications group in India —  senior director Prasanto Roy, senior advisor Malini Thadani and senior consultant Nandan Sharalaya. Roy, who will be based in Delhi, will advise technology, media and telecommunications clients, as well as all clients in the digital economy space. Thadani (pictured) will be based in Mumbai, advising clients across Asia Pacific managing environmental, social and governance and sustainability risks. Sharalaya, also Mumbai-based,  will extend FTI’s state-level public affairs capabilities for clients in the Southern and Western Indian states.

MUMBAI —PharmEasy, India’s largest pharmacy aggregator, has awarded its creative mandate to Mullen Lintas. The agency is charged with boosting further growth of PharmEasy, which helps users connect with local pharmacy stores and diagnostic centres. Currently, they cater to 22000 pin codes across the country while continuing their nationwide expansion.

KUALA LUMPUR — THE RuMa Hotel and Residences in Kuala Lumpur has tapped the Brandman Agency to handle its communications. Scheduled to open late this year, the luxury hotel will be Urban Resort Concepts’ first development outside China. It will have 253 elegant guest rooms and suites.
