SINGAPORE—Golin Singapore has been awarded the communications responsibilities for Guinness. Under the retainer, Golin will drive integrated communications across digital, PR and social for both Guinness Foreign Extra Stout and Guinness Draught.
SINGAPORE—Samsonite has appointed DeVries Global as its public relations agency, to spearhead communications and advocacy programs for Samsonite, Samsonite Red, Samsonite Black Label and Lipault in Singapore. The campaign will focus on strengthening the brand with millennial travelers.
HONG KONG—WE Communications has been retained by Pacific Place of Swire Properties as PR agency of record. WE Communications will be responsible for driving a holistic communications program within Hong Kong and will work with Pacific Place to drive a tailored media relations program in the market, provide on-ground support for events and deliver strategic counsel on communications framework messaging to support upcoming campaigns.
SYDNEY—Sister agencies N2N and Fuel Communications have launched a new digital marketing agency, Touch Creative, to provide clients specialist digital marketing capabilities. The agency is headed up by newly promoted partner Lewis Shields, who has led digital and integrated projects for N2N and Fuel for two years.
SHANGHAI—Edelman has hired Shijun Ma for the newly created position of Shanghai corporate reputation senior vice president. Ma will lead senior counsel to major corporate and healthcare clients in the Shanghai region and reports to Sonny Shen, Shanghai managing director, who was also recently appointed as senior vice president of China. He started his communications career at the agency 14 years ago and most recently served as China senior vice president for Racepoint Global. He has also held roles at MSLGroup and FleishmanHillard.

MELBOURNE—SenateSHJ has appointed Angela Scaffidi and Darren Behar as joint managing partners, Australia. Scaffidi was one of six partners who founded the firm in 2002. Behar joined the firm in 2013, and has been the general manager of SenateSHJ’s Melbourne office for the past two years.
