SHANGHAI—James Robinson has been appointed as managing director of APCO Worldwide’s Shanghai office. Robinson moves from New York, where he spent 11 years and led several of APCO’s most high-profile global client accounts, including for PepsiCo, Microsoft and the Clinton Global Initiative. Robinson started his career with APCO in its Beijing office and also spent a year in the firm’s Jakarta office.

HONOLULU—Tokyo-based Vector will acquire and merge resources with Honolulu based PacRim Marketing Group, Inc. and its sister companies PRTech and PacRim Marketing Tokyo.  The acquisition will make Vector one of the largest independent media communications firms in Asia-Pacific region, with nine offices in Asia and one in the US and revenue of more than $90 million. The acquisition increases opportunities for PacRim and PRTech clients to expand their reach and impact in Japan and Asia.

HONG KONG—Reuter Communications, an integrated luxury marketing and communications specialist, has appointed former Bottega Veneta Asia Pacific head of communications Lillian Lim-Hossack to head its new Hong Kong office. She previously spent seven years with Bottega Veneta. She will lead a team offering digital communications, brand strategy, public relations, influencer marketing, and experiential marketing to luxury clients.
