BRUSSELS — BCW has appointed digital pioneer Dan Sobovitz as a senior digital communications advisor.

Sobovitz is the founder of digital communications agency, a network of individuals from communication agencies, technology companies, public institutions and international organisations. Before setting up the agency last year, Sobovitz was speechwriter and digital communications strategist for European Commission vice president Maroš Šefčovič. has a specialism in live interactive and digital/hybrid events, and Sobovitz has produced and moderated events including a VR launch of EU satellites into space, livestreaming from autonomous vehicles and solar planes, and using digital tools to make EU democracy more participative, such as crowdsourcing EU policies among citizen groups.

An Israeli, Swiss and Hungarian national, Sobovitz is also the chief communications officer of the European Startup Prize for Mobility and sits on the board of a number of human rights NGOs.
