NEW YORK — BCW has launched a new offering designed to meet the particular needs of federal government agencies.

The federal government solutions offering, which operates under the agency’s public affairs and crisis practice, provides strategic communications, branding, marketing and digital campaigns for public sector clients. Specifically, the practice offers: local services in all of the country’s media markets and congressional districts; the ability to reach diverse audiences through culturally relevant campaigns; and creative teams experienced in supporting big-name clients.

“Reaching and moving people through complex communications is fraught with challenges for any organization, even more so in the case of the public sector/government agencies,” said Chris Foster, BCW’s North America president. “The bodies need the partnership and expertise of BCW to help them navigate the communications landscape and ensure that the right messages are meeting the right people, at the right time, and in precisely the right way.”

The offerings are of particular value to government agencies in communicating with stakeholders about sensitive issues in the US and abroad, BCW said in announcing the new unit. The division currently works with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Commerce, Department of Defense, and the Department of Health and Human Services.

“As the new administration ramps up, many agencies will need to develop and launch compelling strategic communications campaigns to disseminate President Biden’s priorities, policies and objectives to the American public,” said Dan Doherty (pictured), who leads the firm’s North America public affairs and crisis practice. “BCW will continue serving as a strategic communications partner to government agencies to meet that need and is committed to expanding its position in 2021 and beyond.”
