WASHINGTON — Blueair, the Unilever-owned air purifier brand, has shifted its PR business to Allison+Partners, ending its roughly five-year relationship with Finn Partners.

As agency of record, Allison+Partners will handle the full scope of Blueair’s communications work including campaign development, brand and product PR and projects such as videos, influencer relations and social media campaigns.

The agency, which was named AOR earlier this year, will also elevate the brand’s global advocacy program focusing on clean air for children in the US, both by maintaining the company’s CSR program and building a thought leadership platform.

Allison+Partners' relationship with Blueair started in 2020, when the agency was hired to handle the brand’s CSR initiatives, which at the time centered around the West Coast wildfires and Covid-19. Blueair donated $1 million, as well as air purifiers, to schools and hospitals in need.

“We are thrilled to work with Allison+Partners, a dynamic agency with a proven track record in elevating brand awareness and visibility,” said Suzy Kwiecien, Blueair’s North America head of brand and product marketing. “We look forward to collaborating and developing integrated communications programs that will connect with and further educate consumers on the importance of clean indoor air.”
