COPENHAGEN — Fast-growing business strategy and communications consultancy BoldT has expanded Into Denmark, hiring another former Burson-Marsteller leader, Denmark CEO Nikolaj Buchardt, as senior adviser.

The move is in response to client demand across the Nordics: since launching in 2017 the agency has established an office in Oslo, led by former B-M Norway CEO Morten Pettersen, as well as Brussels, Cologne, Zurich and Berlin.

Pettersen, the agency’s leader in the Nordics, said: "We are delighted to be working with Nikolaj again. He has created and unleashed strategic communications platforms for many clients, including in the retail, food, drinks, pharmaceutical and transport sectors. He is a skilled adviser in issues and crisis management and acts as a trusted adviser to top management. He gets the critical connection between business strategy and communications."

Buchardt, who was also the CEO of Halo, an agency created with the merger of WPP brands Burson-Marsteller and Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Denmark, said: “Being prepared for upcoming issues and protecting reputation should be a key focus for all who have responsibility for bringing their businesses forward. My work with BoldT will be a great opportunity to support companies in doing that.”
