LONDON — Brands2Life has appointed former Grayling creative lead Julian Cirrone as its first creative director in the agency’s consumer practice.
As well as working at Grayling from 2019 to 2022, Cirrone has also been a creative director at M&C Saatchi PR and Lexis, and has worked with clients including Badoo, EE, Umbro, Harley Davidson, Visa, Foot Locker and the UN Environment, where he created and oversaw the launch of the ‘Beat Air Pollution’ campaign, calling on world leaders to re-address their air pollution targets for World Environment Day.
In his new role, Cirrone will lead creative output for the consumer team, working alongside consumer managing director Laura Sibley, who joined the agency in 2021 from Hope&Glory, where she was a board director.
Sibley said: “Within the agency, creativity is of huge importance to the brands we work with – but equally a passion point for many. That’s why we established an integrated function – the Brands2Life Creative Council – that works across all teams to ensure our creative is the best it can be. Julian’s appointment is an important hire, that continues to show the agency’s commitment; now he is on board, we’re excited about this next step.”
Cirrone added: “Brilliant clients, a passionate team and an ambitious vision make this an exciting time to join Brands2Life. The hunger to break new ground and innovate, even after 21 years in the industry, was a huge incentive to be part of the team. I’ve been quietly working with the agency for a little while; inspired and excited to play a part in some exciting new business wins along the way, and I look forward to many more.”
