NEW YORK — Finn Partners has added breakfast foods brand Kodiak to its client roster.

The Park City, Utah-based company has hired Finn to handle communications strategy, brand visibility, product launches and collaborations with celebrity, athlete and ambassador partners.

Kodiak has previously worked with Lippe Taylor and social media firm Sircle.

The account will be managed by Finn’s New York consumer lifestyle and sports team, whose remit includes supporting Kodiak’s Keep It Wild program.

The program supports wildlife and land conservation efforts through partnerships, featured artists and limited-edition items for purchase, the sales of which are donated to conservation organizations.

“Kodiak is on a mission to feed epic days and wilder lives, and we’re thrilled to have Finns’s consumer lifestyle and sports team join the charge. We’re so impressed by the group’s breadth of experience and are looking forward to partnering with them on the Kodiak brand journey,” said Kodiak CMO Cory Bayers.

Last year, Kodiak garnered attention when Zac Efron signed on as the company's chief brand officer and, as a shareholder, board of directors member. The actor and company, however, then received backlash from  PETA for using a bear in its ads.
