NEW YORK — BCW has promoted longtime leader Brooke Hovey to global president.

In the newly created role, Hovey will work with BCW teams across all regions to further develop, operationalize and scale the agency’s core services including creative, digital and integrated performance media. She will also oversee marketing communications, global new business and key client partnerships.

Hovey is a 20-year BCW Group veteran who since 2018 has served as global chief growth officer.

For much of the last year, Hovey has also served as interim president of North America, a role she assumed last May following the departure of Chris Foster, who is now CEO of Omnicom Public Relations Group. Real Chemistry’s chief client officer Mary Corcoran has been named Foster’s permanent replacement.

“Brooke has been partnering with me on building businesses for more than a decade and has been integral to BCW’s success over the years,” said global CEO Donna Imperato, to whom Hovey will report.  “She has broad experience and expertise and is highly respected and admired by colleagues, clients and WPP. Brooke’s achievements in running practices, offices and, most recently, our largest region, have paved the way for her to continue to partner with me at the highest level. I am thrilled to name her as BCW’s global president.”
