CHICAGO—Footwear brand Brooks Running and its agencies M Booth and Venture Production Group took home top honors at the 2025 North American In2 SABRE Awards, which recognize insight and innovation in public relations.
The “Lets Run There with Jeremy Renner” campaign received the Platinum SABRE Award for the best campaign in this year’s competition, which attracted some 1,200 entries from across the continent. The campaign saw Brooks build on its new “Let’s Run There” brand platform by partnering with the Marvel Cinematic Universe actor, who was returning to fitness after a near fatal accident.
“The campaign was organic and authentic, a collaboration that came out of a simple offer of free product and grew into a content-driven brand-building partnership that redefined the term ‘hero content,’” says Paul Holmes, editor of PRovoke Media and chair of the In2 SABRE judges.
The Brooks Running campaign beat out four other finalists for Best in Show. They were (in order):
- St. Patrick's Eve — Jameson Irish Whiskey with Weber Shandwick, Publicis Collective, 160over90, UEG
- TurboTax Undone — TurboTax with Citizen Relations
- Special Delivery — Grubhub with Golin, The Brooklyn Brothers
- The ElectionGraph Project — Neo4j with Ruder Finn
It was a good night all around for M Booth, which took home six trophies from the day’s awards, which were held at RPM Events in Chicago. That tied for the most awards in this year’s competition with The Weber Shandwick Collective.
California-based Bospar and Publicis-owned MSL Group each took home five trophies. Citizen Relations, Real Chemistry and Zeno Group received three trophies each.
