BRUSSELS — Brunswick Group has strengthened its healthcare bench in Brussels with the appointment of Francesca Scassellati Sforzolini as a partner.
Scassellati Sforzolini joins from Incisive Health, which she joined in 2017 to set up and lead the Brussels office. There, she counselled clients and established a network of healthcare policy advisors in key European Union member states.
The acting head of Incisive Health in Brussels is Aurélie Marchand, who joined the agency in 2020 from Hanover’s Brussels office.
Before joining Incisive, Scassellati Sforzolini was public policy and press officer for global standards non-profit GS1. She began her career at Burson-Marsteller, where she was a senior member of the firm’s healthcare team, before becoming head of communications at Mars Nutrition for Health & Wellbeing and then director of stakeholder communications and operations director of The European Climate Foundation.
At Brunswick, Scassellati Sforzolini will advise global healthcare and life sciences clients on healthcare policy and corporate issues.
Brunswick CEO Neal Wolin said: “Francesca brings a wealth of experience in advising a wide range of public and private sector organizations on critical healthcare policy issues and broader corporate communications strategies. Her expertise will add meaningfully to our healthcare and life sciences sector and healthcare policy capabilities in Europe and internationally. We are delighted to welcome her to Brunswick.”
Scassellati Sforzolini added: “The pandemic has elevated healthcare and healthcare policy issues to the forefront of the global agenda. Healthcare companies and stakeholders are faced with growing complexity but also extraordinary opportunity. I look forward to helping clients address the policy landscape for the ultimate benefit of patients in Europe and beyond.”
