BARCELONA--The ICCO 2011 Summit has unveiled its speaker line-up, headlined by Harold Burson, Lord Chadlington and Olivier Fleurot.

The trio of global agency heads will be joined by other high-profile industry figures: Mark Adams, Prema Sagar, Jean-Leopold Schuybroek and Paul Holmes.

The event, which will also feature the inaugural Global SABRE Awards, will take place on the 29 and 30 September in Sintra, Portugal. Other notable speakers include Ketchum’s Rob Flaherty, Speed’s Stephen Waddington, Prime’s Carl Fredrik Sammeli and Netprofile founder Christina Forsgård.

The programme will focus on the evolution of PR in 2020, looking at such areas as the industry’s role in the C-suite, the future of the independent agency, along with several workshops.

“We’ve united the most influential and compelling speakers from across the consultancy sector in Europe, Asia, the US and Australia to provide real insights into the important trends in our sector and practical guidance on how to navigate them,” said ICCO president Richard Houghton. “Combine this with Global SABRE Awards, and you have a must-attend event.”

A select number of individuals will also be inducted into the prestigious ICCO Hall of Fame, honouring exceptional track records in leadership and contribution to the development of PR consultancy internationally.

Online registration is available at www.iccosummit.org.

The ICCO membership comprises national trade associations in twenty-eight countries across the globe: from Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Collectively, these associations represent some 1,500 PR firms.
