SINGAPORE—Camillia Dass, most recently deputy editor, South-East Asia for Marketing Interactive, has joined PRovoke Media as editor, Asia-Pacific.
In her new role, Camillia will focus primarily on public relations industry news from around the Asia-Pacific region. However, she will also contribute to PRovoke Media’s global coverage of the industry, including feature stories, profiles, and analysis.
In addition, she will play a leading role in our Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year selection and coverage, the judging of our Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards competition, and the hosting of our Asia-Pacific Summit, which takes place in Singapore in September.
Camillia brings relevant experience covering the digital realm for Marketing Interactive, and writing more broadly about business, food, and travel for publications including Tatler Asia, Women's Weekly, The Straits Times, and Youth.SG. She has also worked in the communications sector, serving as a communications executive for advocacy group AWARE (Association of Women for Action and Research) in Singapore, and previously interned in branding and communications with Aviva.
The Asia-Pacific has been PRovoke Media’s fastest-growing region over the past few years, as the public relations and communications sector has achieved greater maturity and taken on a central role in brand-building and corporate reputation management.
Based in Singapore and with experience throughout Southeast Asia, Camillia is well-placed to cover the entire region. Her experience in the digital arena will add to our global capabilities and our content as it relates to marketing technology and the fast-moving social media space.
