NEW YORK—Carnival Cruise Line has handed North American PR duties to M Booth.

The Next 15 PR firm began the mandate on 1 May, and will focus on reaching new-to-cruise consumers through national and regional consumer media relations, digital influencer outreach, and special events.

One of 10 cruise ship brands operated by Carnival Corporation, Carnival Cruise Line is considered the largest of its kind in the world, operating 24 vessels that account for more than 20% of worldwide market share.

“We believe that M Booth has the kind of creativity and insight that can help us move our business forward,” said Jennifer De La Cruz, VP of PR of Carnival Cruise Line.

Brand marketing SVP Jon Paul Buchmeyer will lead the business for M Booth. Carnival has worked with FleishmanHillard in the past, although this business moved without a competitive pitch.

"This brand’s reputation for big, creative, ‘fun’ ideas makes them a perfect fit for the M Booth culture," said M Booth CEO Dale Bornstein.
