LONDON — B2B technology PR agency CCgroup has won two substantial pan-European accounts from fintechs after competitive pitches, having doubled the size of its fintech business over the past year.
Payments company Moorwand, which was set up by finance industry legal expert Robert Courtneidge in 2018, provides digital banking solutions, electronic money services and access to the VISA, Mastercard, JCB and UnionPay International card schemes for payment providers.
CCgroup is delivering an integrated PR programme to help differentiate Moorwand in the European fintech market among industry influencers, plus content marketing aimed at securing leads with payment providers.
Moorwand marketing and projects manager Philippa Artus said the company was “deeply ambitious” about building a major payments brand: “Technological, social and regulatory headwinds are transforming business models across the financial services sector. We needed an agency that could develop clear and differentiated company positioning, rapidly raise market awareness, and create platforms for engagement with prospects. Moorwand is already benefiting from a compelling company narrative, increased market profile and an uptick in PR-driven sales interest.”
OpenPayd, which offers banking and payments services to global enterprises, has been named in the Fintech Power 50 for 2020. CCgroup has developed a commercially-focused PR programme to drive brand awareness, boost its influence within the global business banking market and support lead generation through messaging and story creation, content marketing and influencer relations.
Group marketing director Adam Trainis said: “The Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) market in which our business operates is dynamic, with a number of players occupying a highly competitive space. Differentiating our proposition and articulating our vision in a clear and practical way will be crucial for us as we look to capitalise on our rapid growth.”
