BRUSSELS—Christophe Ginisty, founder of French technology public relations specialist Rumeur Publique and most recently head of digital for the Benelux region at Ketchum, is launching a new business, AGOREP, which will provide social intelligence consultancy in insights for corporate communications and public relations professionals.

AGOREP services will include conversation audit, influencer mapping, competitive share voice analysis, campaign performance measurement and training. Ginisty will be supported by a network of five social media intelligence specialists—he is seeking additional team members in key European markets—and will initially cover the French-  and English-speaking markets as well as the Benelux region.

“My objective is to operate between monitoring solution providers and end-users to help professionals capture the essence of conversations before taking the right decisions,” he says. “You have to listen to online conversations if you want to execute an impactful PR strategy and work positively on your reputation.”

Ginisty launched Rumeur Publique—a pioneer in French tech PR and later in digital and social—in 1988 and led the firm until 2011. Since then he has held digital roles with Edelman, FTI Consulting, and Ketchum.
