LONDON — Cirkle has created twomanaging partner roles to support Ruth Kieran in her newly-elevated CEO role, and appointed two new associate directors.
The consumer brand agency’s two divisional heads, Kate Gibson and Annemarie Penderis, have been promoted to managing partner, consumer brands and managing partner, corporate reputation and B2B, respectively.
In addition, Amy Searle becomes head of trade. All three will sit on the partnership board of the agency, which became an employee-owned business in 2018 and focuses on food and drink, retail, petcare and household brands.
At the same time, Cirkle has hired two new associate directors: Melanie Howe, who has worked in agency and in-house roles including Virgin Active and M&C Saatchi Public Relations, and Julia Riddle, who led the food and drink team at Spider PR.
Kieran (pictured) said: “These senior promotions and new hires underscore a highly successful year for Cirkle. They recognise the energy, commitment and hard work of each individual, but really are the tip of the iceberg – the whole agency team is performing exceptionally well and we’re excited about the future. We can’t rest on our laurels, but I’m confident we’re building a formidable agency.”
