LONDON — Consumer agency Cirkle has made two senior appointments to its management team after a number of client wins last year.

Claire Haddrill (pictured) joins Cirkle in the newly-created role of strategy director, working across the agency’s client base. She was previously a director at Edelman for a decade, working in the UK and the UAE on brands including GSK, PepsiCo, Hilton, Facebook and McDonalds.

In addition, Rebecca Holmes joins as digital director from Splendid Communications, where she was social media director for two years and worked on brands including Greggs and the AA. Before that, she was director of social media and digital at Spider.

Cirkle has grown its client portfolio of food, drink, retail and FMCG clients during 2020, including Upfield (Elmlea, Stork and Flora Plant), Kinder, Nutella and Mars Petcare.

CEO Ruth Kieran said: “Cirkle is lucky enough to have some of the best known and most admired brands in the UK on its client roster, and with that comes huge scope to deliver highly strategic campaigns across a range of channels. While 2020 was challenging for all, Claire and Rebecca’s appointments signify our continued confidence in our employee-owned model, and our ambitions for the future.”

The agency recently achieved ally status from The Blueprint in recognition of its steps to improve diversity and inclusion.
