ZURICH — Siemens’ former group head of communications, Clarissa Haller, has left the German technology giant to join strategic communications consultancy Dynamics Group.
Dynamics Group has offices in Zurich, Bern, Geneva and Lausanne and its team of senior advisors consults on corporate communications, capital market communications, public affairs, reputation management and crisis communications. In her new role as senior partner, Haller will advise individuals and companies in Switzerland, Germany and beyond on reputation and sustainability issues.
Haller joined Siemens in 2016 to take on one of Germany’s most high-profile communications roles during the firm’s restructuring from a conglomerate into four independent listed companies focusing on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
She had previously been head of corporate communications at Credit Suisse and spent eight years as ABB’s head of group communications, both in Zurich, as well as head of communications at Roche Diagnostics in Basel.
It is not yet clear if Siemens is looking for a new dedicated communications lead; in a statement the firm said leadership of the communications function had been taken over by Judith Wiese, the member of the managing board responsible for human resources, sustainability and global business services.
Siemens CEO Roland Busch said: “We thank Clarissa Haller for her performance and commitment to Siemens. Under her leadership, the function has developed very successfully, especially in the area of digital communications. We wish her all the best for the future.”
Dynamics Group co-founder and senior partner Edwin van der Geest said: “We are delighted to welcome Clarissa to Dynamics Group. Her broad experience in strategically supporting and positioning CEOs, entrepreneurs, global corporations and family businesses will be very valuable to our clients.”
Haller added: “I am very excited to join the Dynamics Group team, which excels in strategy development, communications as well as market and financial analysis, and to bring my corporate communications and reputation management experience to the group.”
