NEW YORK — The classical music streaming service IDAGIO has handed its US PR business to SourceCode Communications.

SourceCode won the account in a competitive pitch, following the German company’s North American launch in September 2018. IDAGIO also works with digitally focused Mimosa Agency, which handles user acquisition and experimental marketing.

As regional agency of record, SourceCode will build and execute an integrated communications plan centered around thought leadership, accelerating customer awareness and driving business growth.

The agency will be focusing heavily on communicating health and wellness benefits of listening to classical music. SourceCode’s consumer tech portfolio also includes another client in the music business — the app Yousician, which teaches users how to play musical instruments.

IDAGIO has an extensive music library including the Sony Classical and Warner Classics catalogues. Former artist manager Till Janczukowicz launched the service in 2015.

"Adding IDAGIO to the family has truly been an honor,” said SourceCode managing partner Greg Mondshein. “Till is truly a visionary in the classical music industry and recognized a serious need to develop a platform that helps spread the art in a more effective way in North America. IDAGIO solves that problem."
