CLEVELAND—Paul Dolan, chairman and chief executive officer of the Cleveland Indians, has joined Dix & Eaton’s board of directors.

Dolan has been chairman and CEO of the Indians since November 2010, after having served as president since 2004 and as vice president and general counsel since 2000. He also served as chairman and chief executive officer of Fast Ball Sports Productions, a sports media company, from 2006 to 2012.

He becomes the third independent director on Dix & Eaton’s five-member board, joining James Boland and Dave Eaton. Boland, retired former vice chairman of the Cavaliers Operating Company, spent 34 years with Ernst & Young. Eaton, a senior partner with Korn Ferry, is a consultant specializing in cultural integration, multinational team building, global leadership development, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, outsourcing/offshoring, and other large-scale corporate transactions.
