LONDON—Clients of Omnicom-owned Ketchum and WPP-owned Ogilvy (including the firm firm's Irish subsidiary Wilson Hartness) have been shortlisted for more EMEA region SABRE Awards than any other agencies. Ketchum and Ogilvy’s clients were shortlisted 17 times, just ahead of Burson clients (16) as the competition announced almost 400 finalists out of more than 2,000 campaigns submitted for this year’s judges.

Other firms that saw their clients garner double-digit nominations included Golin (14); and Edelman (12); and Hope & Glory and Weber Shandwick (11 each).

A complete list of  EMEA region SABRE Awards finalists can be found here. The winners will be announced at our annual awards ceremony, which takes place at London’s history Brewery venue on April 2. Tickets and tables for that event are on sale now, along with tickets for our PRovoke EMEA Summit on the same day.

“The 400 campaigns shortlisted for our EMEA awards all demonstrated either extraordinary creativity or delivered outstanding impact,” says Paul Holmes, who chaired the SABRE jury meetings over the past week, with more than 60 industry leaders involved in selecting the best. “The best of them delivered both, and demonstrated that despite political turmoil and economic challenges, the PR industry continues to deliver outstanding work for clients.”

Other firms celebrating multiple finalists include Team Farner and Team Lewis (nine nominations each); MSL, Marco, and SEC Newgate (eight); Italy’s INC istituto nazionale per la comunicazione, British creative shop The Romans, Finland’s SEK and Trigger Oslo (seven); and Spanish firm Apple Tree (six).
