NEW DELHI—Cohn & Wolfe India CEO Rafi Khan is stepping down from his role, with the firm promoting Megha Sharma to lead its operations in the country.
Sharma, who has led Cohn & Wolfe's Delhi office for the past three years, becomes associate managing director, adding responsibility for Mumbai, client and employee development, and new business. She reports to Asia-Pacific president Angelina Ong.
Khan leaves Cohn & Wolfe at the end of May, after just 18 months as CEO. He previously spent almost six years at Text 100 India.
Cohn & Wolfe entered India in mid-2012; global CEO Donna Imperato added that the firm is now "actively pursuing an acquisition to broaden our reach across the region."
“Megha helped establish our India operations and has done a tremendous job in building our offering and growing our reputation I’m thrilled to have her in this new role to further drive our growth and success in this critical market,” said Imperato.
