GUANGZHOU—Cohn & Wolfe has opened in Guangzhou, after being named PR agency of record for Colgate in China.
The firm, which already handles Colgate in 10 markets across North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, will provide integrated communications services such as content creation and design, e-commerce integration, video development and social and digital media for a range of Colgate brands.
Cohn & Wolfe's Guangzhou office will be led by Cyrus Yeung, who joins the firm after nine years with P&G China. Yeung reports to Cohn & Wolfe China MD Tiffany Bai (pictured).
"It is the perfect time for Cohn & Wolfe to establish a presence in Guangzhou," said Bai in a statement. "As the city evolves from a center of manufacturing and trading into an innovation and technology hub, there is great client demand for our expertise in integrated communications for technology and consumer goods brands."
In recent months, Cohn & Wolfe has added a string of new clients in China, including AliCloud, Asics, Cameron Pace Group, United Airlines and Wyeth. The firm's overall Asian presence has grown considerably in recent years, now numbering 12 offices across the region. However, regional president Angelina Ong departed recently, after just seven months in the role.
