LONDON — Digital agency Coolr has expanded its senior team with a director of operations and the relatively unusual hire of a chief technology officer.

Audrey Moir joins as director of operations from Facebook, where she was a strategic partner manager on Workplace, the internal communications platform for which Coolr is a partner.

Moir has led a number of Workplace roll-outs in companies across EMEA in sectors including not-for-profit, education, retail and FMCG. She said: “Having previously been inside Facebook has given me a strong understanding of the platform and what it can achieve for a breadth of sectors.”

Anthony Sheldrake has also joined the agency, as chief technology officer. He was previously a consultant at Telefonica, where he was involved in digital projects including its initial Workplace rollout and building the platform for 100,000 employees worldwide.

Sheldrake will also lead Coolr’s new second office, which has opened in Leeds to service clients in the North of England. He said: “The possibilities of what Workplace can do are limitless and I’m looking forward to helping Coolr clients get the most out of it through a range of technical integrations and bots.”

Coolr CEO Adam Clyne added: “These senior hires strengthen our position as a leading partner in the world of Workplace. Organisations are changing the way they think about culture and internal communication and we are seeing a huge demand from progressive companies that want to reimagine how they operate; connecting colleagues is a first step in achieving this.”
