CHICAGO — Golin has named Cori McKeever the firm’s global president of healthcare, as which she leads both Golin’s healthcare practice and its specialty agency Virgo Health.
Joining most recently from the American College of Surgeons (ACS), McKeever is responsible for growing Golin’s and Virgo’s healthcare practices to best serve clients, which includes expanding offerings and building out the teams and their cultures.
McKeever, who started in May, is based in Golin’s Chicago headquarters and reports to CEO Matt Neale. She replaces Neera Chaudhary who left Golin early this year to join Ketchum as president of North America.
McKeever brings roughly 20 years of experience to the role, seven of which she spent as a Weber Shandwick healthcare leader. Before joining Golin, she spent a year-plus leading ACS’s integrated communications division.
“Cori has a proven track record of orchestrating transformative programs around the world that drive business results,” said Neale. “Our industry’s need for effective healthcare communications has never been in higher demand, and Cori is a strategic, collaborative and passionate leader who will drive Golin’s healthcare practice forward and deliver maximum impact for our clients.”
