ARLINGTON, VA—The Telecommunications Industry Association, an association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, has added Ashley Simmons as director of communications, responsible for relationships with media and other stakeholders. Most recently, Simmons was the director of communications at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and earlier worked as an account director at David All Group.

NEW YORK—Construction and development company Skanska USA has promoted Nicole Didda to chief communications officer, reporting directly to Richard Cavallaro, president and CEO. In the six years since she joined Skanska, Didda has built an operation that spans all US units and promotes the brand across multiple audiences.  Prior to Skanska, she served as a partner at management consulting firm Oliver Wyman and as an executive vice president at Edelman. 

NEW YORK—TBWA Worldwide has appointed Anaka Kobzev as global head of communications, tasked with developing the global communications strategy for TBWA and promoting the company's vision for “Disruption
 in key markets around the world. Kobzev joins TBWA from J Walter Thompson, where she served as director of communications for North America. Earlier, she held a dual role with Interpublic Group as communications director for McCann Erickson and providing support for IPG's west coast units. 

CHERRY HILL, NJ—AmeriQuest Business Services, a provider of financial process, procurement, and asset management solutions, has appointed Glenn Boyet as director of corporate communications. Previously, Boyet was instrumental in developing government relations programs at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, managing Y2K communications for Bank of New York Mellon, heading PR at Project Management Institute, and leading international public relations for Micro Focus, an enterprise software company.

LOS ANGELES—The Music Center, one of Los Angeles' premier performing arts centers, has appointed Bonnie Goodman as senior vice president of marketing and communications. Goodman comes to the position after serving as interim head of The Music Center’s marketing department since January 2016 and providing marketing and media relations consulting services in her role as principal of Goodman Communications Group. She also spent 25 years with Hill + Knowlton in numerous capacities.
