NEW YORK — WarnerMedia Entertainment has named Kevin Brockman executive VP of global communications. Brockman will oversee all corporate and content communications initiatives worldwide across the company’s portfolio of networks and brands including HBO, Cinemax, TBS, TNT and truTV as well as the upcoming WarnerMedia direct-to-consumer streaming service. Brockman joins WarnerMedia from The Walt Disney Company, where he most recently served as executive vice president of global communications for Disney | ABC Television.

WASHINGTON — The National Restaurant Association has appointed Sean Kennedy as executive VP of public affairs, the association's senior-most executive in the development and execution of its multi-year advocacy strategy. Kennedy will lead all advocacy initiatives, federal and grassroots lobbying efforts and policy economic analysis for the $863 billion restaurant and foodservice industry. Kennedy has most recently served as senior VP, global government affairs for Airlines for America.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Pharma company Amarin has named Gwen Fisher its first VP of corporate communications. Fisher will be responsible for leading internal and external communications for the company. Specifically, she is charged with advancing and implementing an integrated, progressive corporate communications strategy designed to educate key stakeholders about the company and its lead product, Vascepa. Fisher joins most recently from Shire, where she was heading global portfolio communications.
