DUARTE, CA — Walgreens' Brian Faith has joined City of Hope as VP of communications. Faith will lead the cancer and diabetes research and treatment center’s integrated communications initiatives and teams, including thought leadership, issues management, media relations, the newsroom, internal communications and social media, with a special focus on helping City of Hope promote and protect its reputation as a global leader in cancer and diabetes research and cancer care. Most recently, Faith served as vice president of corporate communications for Walgreens, leading all internal and external communications for the iconic domestic brand as part of Walgreens Boots Alliance, the global health and wellness company.

SAN FRANCISCO — Paige Young has joined Unity as its new VP of communications. Her responsibilities include building the company’s reputation after its IPO in September 2020. Young is a seasoned PR executive, with more than 20 years of experience managing accounts and overseeing clients both in-house and on the agency side.  Most recently, she was VP of communications at Zendesk and prior to that, led communications for Adobe’s creative Cloud products.  She’s also held high-level positions at Edelman and Weber Shandwick.

FALLS CHURCH, VA —Inova Health System has appointed Tracey Schroeder as chief communications officer where she will lead all internal and external communications and marketing initiatives, reporting directly to President and CEO Dr. J. Stephen Jones. Schroeder joined Inova in January from Marriott International where she served as VP, global head of consumer public relations responsible for leading public relations for Marriott’s 30 brands and consumer facing initiatives across loyalty, digital, experiential, and global marketing partnerships.
