WASHINGTON — The trade association Airlines for America has named Rebecca Spicer senior VP of communications.  Spicer joins from the National Beer Wholesalers Association, where she most recently served as the senior VP of communications and public affairs. In her new role, she  will be responsible for the association's communications initiatives that execute key public relations strategies, promote the industry's image and help achieve advocacy objectives.

WASHINGTON — The NHP Foundation, the nonprofit affordable housing group, has tapped Marijane Funess to head its PR and marketing activities as director. Funess handles day-to-day PR, marketing and social media functions, as well as planning the organization’s annual fall symposium & dinner. Funess was previously a Director at Crenshaw Communications for seven years managing consumer, CSR and tech accounts.

WASHINGTON — The International Dairy Foods Association has named A. Bailey Wood, Jr., to the expanded position of VP of communications, public relations and marketing. Wood will be responsible for developing and implementing a broad range of marketing and public relations activities to support the association's strategic direction and enhance its position as a thought leader in the food and beverage industry. He joins from the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association, where he served as VP of communications since 2014.
