BOSTON—Boston Community Capital, a national nonprofit with over $1 billion in investments dedicated to creating housing, jobs and opportunities in low-income communities, has appointed Susan Rivers as chief communications officer. In a newly created role, she will lead a communications strategy that promotes new investment initiatives, grows existing businesses and connects BCC with national conversations about trends and best practices. Prior to joining BCC, Rivers served as global head of corporate communications at BNY Mellon Wealth Management.

SANTA ANA, CA—Yokohama Tire Corporation has promoted Andrew Briggs to the newly created position of vice president of marketing and product management. Briggs, who will report to Jeff Barna, YTC's COO, replaces Fred Koplin, senior director of marketing and motorsports, who has retired.
Briggs has been with Yokohama for 14 years. He joined YTC in 2003 and has held several positions including account manager, senior manager of motorsports, and senior director of marketing, product planning and motorsports. 

BREVARD COUNTY, FL—Rebecca Shireman has been promoted to manager of communications and public relations at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. She was previously assistant manager of communications and public relations. In her new role, Shireman will lead internal and external communications strategy for the visitor complex and will oversee social media efforts.

WASHINGTON, DC—Marriott International is naming Andy Kauffman as senior vice president for global marketing optimization, a newly created position effective January 1, 2018. Kauffman will work closely with global marketing officer Karin Timpone to expand marketing performance capabilities. He is currently leader of digital marketing and Marriott.com.

MOBILE, AL—Xanté Corp., a leading developer of specialty digital printing equipment, has promoted Gary Davidson to director of North America corporate communications. responsible for developing and executing Xanté's overall corporate marketing communication strategies.

NEW YORK—Jetty, a financial services company has named Deborah Roth as chief communications officer. Roth is responsible for the development of communications platforms, raising awareness among would-be renters, landlords, and property managers. Previously, Roth was vice president, corporate communications at Pandora and before that vice president, corporate communications, for IAC.

SEATTLE—Windstar Cruises has promoted Victor Hernandez to director of digital marketing and CRM. Hernandez joined Windstar in September of 2015 and has progressively taken on increasing responsibility for various online advertising channels as well as leadership for email development and performance.
