MEMPHIS, TN—T. Michael Glenn, executive vice president, market development and corporate communications at FedEx Corporation, will retire effective December 31, 2016. Glenn has led the company’s marketing, sales, customer service and communications groups for more than 20 years. Robert Carter, currently chief information officer and co-CEO of FedEx Services with Glenn, will become the CEO of FedEx Services and will oversee the administration of common information technology, sales, solutions, marketing and corporate communications.
SANTA MONICA, Ca—Kite Pharma has appointed Christine Cassiano (pictured) as senior vice president of corporate communications and investor relations. She will also sit on the company’s executive committee. Cassiano was most recently head of healthcare for the W2O Group and previously co-founded ARC2 Communications & Media, a boutique agency that developed platforms for some of the largest companies in healthcare. She has also held senior roles at Hill + Knowlton Strategies, Amgen, Allergan and Abraxis BioScience.
