CHICAGO — Current Global, Edelman, MSL, Ogilvy and Zeno Group are among the creative and communications firms partnering with the city of Chicago to provide pro bono services to nonprofit organizations and city departments. Under the partnership, led by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Michael Fassnacht, 17 participating agencies will donate 1% of their billable hours to the effort, which includes helping organizations with the development of creative campaigns, social media content, marketing materials, integrated media strategies and virtual or live events.

NEW YORK — PRSA will host a fundraising concert to benefit the organization’s endowment of its Multicultural Scholarship on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. EDT. The free online event will feature musical performances by Barbara Morrison, Everette and country duo Brent Rupard and Anthony Olympia. The scholarship goes to help students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing degrees in public relations or communications. Nearly halfway towards its $50,000 goal, all proceeds from the concert will go toward empowering rising talent.

LOS ANGELES — ANA’s Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing (AIMM) has added to its leadership team with three new members. Denny’s chief brand officer, John Dillon, Nestlé CMO Alicia Enciso and Paul Alexander, Eastern Bank CCO/CMO will assume the roles of co-chair, vice-chair and second vice-chair, respectively. In these new positions, they will join current AIMM co-chair and ANA CEO Bob Liodice in helping reverse the downward trend of multicultural and inclusive marketing by empowering the industry to accurately portray cultural diversity and richness in today’s marketing efforts.

MIAMI — LLYC has struck a partnership with digital consumer intelligence company Brandwatch, which will bolster clients’ ability to make decisions using big data. The deal will allow LLYC to reach new heights and develop an enhanced value proposition in two specialized areas — innovation and business development & marketing. The two organizations will also implement joint lines of action regarding Big Data, with a focus on improving decision-making for their clients in communications, public affairs and marketing. Brandwatch will also power LLYC's REPLab initiative, a project that brings together 100 research groups from universities across Europe.

WASHINGTON — ROKK Solutions has launched a new program designed to proactively prepare companies for security incidents and navigate the process of communicating a breach or incident response should one arise. GROKK will be led by VP Kaylin Trychon, who prior to joining ROKK helped build the cybersecurity brand at Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services.
