ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Peace Corps has moved its PR business to Crosby Marketing Communications following a competitive review.

Crosby inked a five-year contract worth an estimated $20 million to provide brand strategy and integrated marketing services to the Peace Corps as the organization’s marketing agency of record.

Crosby will be responsible for developing national awareness and recruitment campaigns aimed at diversifying Peace Corps volunteers by attracting candidates with a wide range of experience, ages and backgrounds.

Ogilvy was the Peace Corps’ incumbent agency. In 2016, Ogilvy played a key role in the agency’s rebrand.

"The Peace Corps is an iconic organization that makes a tremendous, positive impact across the globe," said Crosby CEO and President Raymond Crosby. "This is an incredible creative opportunity to help evolve its brand and inspire service-minded Americans to partner with communities to make a difference.”

Earlier this year, Crosby picked up its second contract with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. That business is worth $12 million over five years.
