LONDON — Current Global has made three new healthcare hires as it grows its health practice in the UK.

Ayesha Ali (pictured) joins as vice president and also becomes vice president of client experience at parent company IPG, bringing experience in integrated campaign development, consumer education campaigns, and pharmaceutical product launch across a range of therapy areas.

Her previous roles include stints in the healthcare practices at Porter Novelli and Portland, as well as at specialist healthcare agencies M&F Health and Red Door Communications (now Health Unlimited). She has also led behavior change campaigns in HIV prevention, food waste prevention, sexual health and water preservation for not-for-profits overseas and in the UK.

In addition, Rhosalyn Green joins as a manager from Ketchum and graduate Rachel Johnson joins as junior associate.

The new team members will report into Nivey Nocher, director of health UK, who joined Current Global in January this year from Ketchum. Since her arrival, Nocher has shaped the healthcare offer, expanded the agency’s client roster, bringing in patient communications and health policy assignments from global pharma and health brands, and driven more integrated work across the IPG network.

George Coleman, co-CEO at Current Global, said: “It’s exciting to see our health team and offer here in the UK go from strength to strength. Our proposition is anchored by deep human insights that help us influence behaviour. Under Nivey’s leadership we are building a team that not only knows the health space inside out, but also brings passion and experience in other areas so we can offer truly diverse thinking, approaches and solutions to our clients.”
