NEW YORK — Financial comms vet David Wells has joined Prosek Partners after more than a decade leading in-house communications for some of the country’s largest investment banks.

Wells has been named a partner in the firm, which counts financial services communications among its specialties. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in financial communications in areas including corporate strategy, business operations, media and investor relations and corporate and executive reputation management.

Wells spent the last eight-plus years at Goldman Sachs, where he most recently served as chief marketing and communications officer for the investment bank’s consumer and investment management division. He led the company’s corporate communications before that.

Earlier in his career, Wells led J.P. Morgan’s EMEA marketing and communications. He was a journalist before joining the financial services industry, holding senior roles at the Financial Times and Bloomberg News.
