CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Deerfield Agency, a Philadelphia-area life sciences-focused firm, has acquired Verge Scientific Communications.

The merger will expand Deerfield's services and ability to support clients, as well as deepen expertise in in branding, strategic communication, scientific and medical communications, and storytelling. Arlington, Virginia-based Verge has a nearly 40-person team that includes a full creative team, scientists, and communications strategists.

Verge partners and founders Lissette Steele and Amanda Sellers will continue to lead daily operations of the firm, which will operate as an independent sister company of Deerfield. They will join the senior leadership team and become shareholders in Deerfield Pharma Services Holdings.
