LONDON--FTI Consulting has hired Deutsche Bank's Jennie Younger to a senior role in the firm’s strategic communications practice in London.

Younger departs her position as global head of client marketing for corporate and investment banking at Deutsche Bank, having joined in 2006 as global head of communications and marketing for global banking.

She assumes the role of senior MD at FTI's comms unit, bringing specific expertise in the financial services, pharmaceutical and oil and gas sectors.

Prior to Deutsche Bank, Younger was a member of GSK's corporate communications team, and also served on the GSK Board’s corporate responsibility committee. Before GSK, she was head of investor relations at British Gas.

“Jennie is an excellent addition to our strategic communications practice at a time when our clients are increasingly looking for integrated, multi-stakeholder communications support,” said Ed Reilly, global CEO of FTI Consulting's strategic communications practice.

“She has a broad range of communications experience spanning three of our key global sectors: financial services, energy, and healthcare and life sciences.”
