NEW YORK—DeVries Global has promoted Laura Pesin (pictured) to president and chief operating officer, and Jessica O’Callaghan to executive vice president, both in the firm’s New York office.

Pesin, a nine-year DeVries veteran, previously served as  executive vice president. She originally joined the company to serve as SVP on the P&G Pantene and Noxzema accounts; since then, she has helped expand the agency’s P&G relationship to a global relationship that encompasses fabric care and multi-brand corporate work. For the past 18 months, Pesin has overseen all agency practice areas, including food & beverage, wellness, beauty, fabric care, and P&G multi-category programming.

Her new role has an expanded purview that includes more direct responsibility for overall organic growth, as well as elevated operational accountability for the DeVries New York office. Pesin will continue to report directly to Stephanie Smirnov, CEO of North America and DeVries Global.

O’Callaghan, formerly a managing director, has spent 13 years at DeVries, including leadership roles across a diverse range of clients, from multi-brand P&G product portfolios (P&G Prestige, salon hair, and fabric care) to lifestyle accounts such as Sephora and Fiat.

Her expanded responsibilities include the addition of the P&G mass female beauty accounts (including Olay and Pantene) to her purview.
