MINEOLA, NY—Didit, an integrated marketing communications agency, has acquired New York-based public relations firm JB Cumberland PR, following on its acquisitions of real estate and professional services PR firm LVM Group in February of last year and Bridge Global Strategies—best known for its work with Japanese companies—earlier this year.

JB Cumberland PR has been providing public relations, branding and marketing services for consumer products since 1985 and is best known for its work with clients in the upscale home products, design, food, tabletop, lifestyle accessories and well-being categories. The firm also has a track record introducing high-end European companies into the American market.

It will retain its company name and staff, but moves its Chelsea office to Didit’s Manhattan location at 276 Fifth Ave.

Joanna Cumberland, president and co-founder JB Cumberland, says Ditit can “share with us an understanding of the options and implementation of smart digital marketing strategies as well as its command of the arenas of CRM, SEO and SEM practices.”

Rick Gould of Gould & Partners served as an advisor in the transaction.
