NEW YORK — Edelman has appointed Pam Scheideler as its new US brand chair.

Part of Edelman’s team since  2020, Scheideler has been serving as the agency’s US head of digital, as which she grown Edelman’s social offering and added new social AOR accounts to the agency’s portfolio, including LinkedIn and Hallmark. Under Scheideler’s leadership, Edelman created ideas such as Sports Illustrated’s “Pay With Change” and Vaseline’s “See My Skin” while also investing in production innovation.

Scheideler will report to US CEO Lisa Osborne Ross and will maintain her digital leadership role. She succeeds Smita Reddy, who is now global chair of Edelman’s food & beverage sector and beauty lead.

Prior to Edelman, Scheideler worked with R/GA, where she served as managing director of R/GA’s Los Angeles office. She also was chief digital officer at Deutsch, LA before that and has also held senior positions at Google Creative Labs, JWT New York and Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

Pam has a demonstrated track record of doing just that – which makes her the right leader to take our Brand Practice forward in a world where action earns trust,” said Ross. “Brands at their best are changemakers, and so is Pam. She sees things others don’t and sees what’s next. She’s bold and brave, future-oriented, and committed to her craft.”
