LONDON — Independent agency Kindred has won a £990,000 three-year contract to provide PR agency support for the UK Ministry of Justice (MoJ). Kindred has been tasked with providing PR support “for MoJ communications campaigns that support departmental policy and operational objectives such as raising awareness and understanding of the work of magistrates or probation officers to help drive recruitment for these roles”.
LONDON — UK Sport has appointed Hatch to handle PR to tell athletes’ stories ahead of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris this summer, after a competitive pitch. The Hatch team will work with the UK government agency responsible for investing in Olympic and Paralympic sport on media stories and social content showing how sport is creating ‘positive change’. The campaign kicked off last week with a film about Team GB Hockey athlete and Olympic hopeful Darcy Bourne.
LONDON — Milk & Honey PR has been appointed by bottled water company One Water – a fellow B Corp – to lead a campaign advocating for worldwide access to safe, clean water in the run up to World Water Day. One Water (pictured) has supported sustainable water and sanitation services for 20 years and through its charity arm, The One Foundation, has raised over £20 million to fund clean water projects around the world. The team will be led by client director Georgia Cobden.
DUBAI — The Conrad Dubai, part of the Conrad group of luxury hotels, has appointed Brazen MENA as its consumer and B2B agency after a competitive pitch. The agency has been tasked with increasing awareness in the UAE of the hotel’s rooms and residences, as well as managing media and influencer communications for its food and drink outlets.
LONDON — Data management company Dremio has appointed Octopus Group as its retained PR agency to support its growth plans for 2024. The agency will work with Dremio to build its profile and awareness among technology and data buyers in the UK, France and Germany through PR and integrated brand campaigns.
LONDON — Whizz Kidz, the leading UK charity dedicated to supporting young wheelchair users, has awarded Manifest a creative campaign brief after a competitive pitch. The agency’s brief includes driving brand awareness across new and existing audiences, including beneficiaries and supporters. Manifest’s remit includes storytelling narrative development, digital content strategy and execution, audio and OOH advertising for the charity, after a brand refresh last year.
LONDON — The Ritz London has appointed luxury consumer PR agency Hunt Communications. The agency will work with the in-house team to promote the hotel, with a brief spanning media relations, digital and influencer relations, and luxury brand partnerships.

LONDON — UK driving school Red Driver Training has appointed Third City as its retained PR and social agency, after a competitive pitch. The company trains more than 100,000 learners every year to pass the practical driving test, as well as running the James May Theory App to help theory test applicants and a corporate driver training division.
LONDON — Gympass, a global corporate wellness company that offers gyms, studios, classes, personal trainers, and wellness apps as employee benefits, has appointed R. Agency as its communications agency after a competitive pitch. R. Agency, part of entrepreneur Steven Bartlett’s marketing agency Flight Story, will position Gympass as the corporate wellness platform of choice in the UK and across European launch markets, including thought leadership and profiling, corporate storytelling, and LinkedIn.
LONDON — The PHA Group has been appointed by sustainable performance-wear brand Reflo, which turns single-use plastics destined for landfill and discarded coffee grounds into technical sports apparel. Reflo’s fabrics, mainly recycled polyester, use 50% less energy and produce 70% less carbon than virgin polyester. The agency will run Reflo’s press office, including product placement, founder profiling, thought leadership, ambassador activation and influencer engagement.
LONDON — Sport and social impact communications agency New Reach has been appointed by Greenhouse Sports, a charity that offers sports coaching and mentoring to disadvantaged young people. Operating in London for more than 20 years, and with new programmes in Portsmouth and Leicester, the charity works with around 8,000 young people every year, with programmes across basketball, table tennis, volleyball, tennis and cricket.
